One of the best pho restaurants I've had in the Bay Area. My favorite is the rare steak and tendon pho. Their beef pho's are better than the chicken pho; so I would always opt for the beef broths. What's good pho without the three colored dessert? Their drink menu is quite diverse and if you need your sweet tooth satisfied order away. Haven't tried their bun or entrees yet; the classics are just too good.

Pros n cons: Great location by walnut creek downtown and freeway Lots of easy parking Great cheap prices Great quality meat Not salty and great tasting broth! Cons Can make the place look a little cuter

The good - The pho is as good as it gets. Service is FAST and that is important! The bad - Parking is kind of weird, I'm not sure how many spots are in the back, but the lot right next to the restaurant is always full. Also, aside from their excellent pho, I haven't found any appetizers or other noodle dishes that are very good. So just go and get your cheap, yummy pho, and it's a 5-star restaurant.

Kevin's Noodle House is one of few places to get pho around this area, which makes it a popular destination for those pho cravings. Service: It's very quick and efficient. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get a seat. The workers are all courteous. 4/5 Food: This review is for the pho. First off, their pho bowls are huge, so when you order medium, imagine you're about to give a baby a bath. I'm a pretty tall person and I can barely finish the entire bowl, but it sure is satisfying. I normally order #2 special beef pho (or something like that). In my opinion, it is very average and standard. Having attended school in Stockton, which is filled with Vietnamese people, I've had my fair share of pho. They do not skimp on any of the ingredients, but I feel like the broth and ingredients are lacking in flavor. Overall, this place is good to satisfy those pho cravings, but there are definitely many other better pho places.

A solidly average pho place. Big bowl of soup but proportionately not a ton of noodles. Nice soft noodles. Broth was very standard, nearly indistinguishable from 3 or 4 others I've had before. Bowl prices were very reasonable especially by Walnut Creek standards. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are pretty nice, maybe the nicest looking pho place I've ever been. Service was meh, but I don't particularly care what the service is like when it comes to my pho. Gotta try a few other places in the area but this is perfectly serviceable in my opinion.

I'm usually never impressed with Vietnamese restaurants because I like to think my mom is the best chef and her cooking is way better than any restaurant's cooking. However, this place has proven itself a worthy competition to my mom's cooking. Arriving for dinner on a Sunday, my family of five waited a good 10-15 minutes for a table. Once we got our table, we immediately placed our order since we were all starving. I got the small Hu Tieu Nam Vang and a Guyabano shake w/ pearl (yes, Nor Cal calls boba "pearl"). The waiter placed our order on an iPad, which is a first I've seen for a Vietnamese restaurant. We got our food shortly after and I digged into my Hu Tieu. The broth was super clear, same thing for the pho broth that my parents got. It's very rare that Vietnamese noodle soup are made this clear and I believe it's a sign that it's healthier (less oily). The broth was super flavorful and the portion of meat and noodle was perfect. The small size was more than enough to fill me up and my tummy was very happy afterwards. My family all enjoyed their meal, too. This Vietnamese restaurant caters more to the Caucasian population so it is super clean and they speak English. The menu is very informative and easy to order off of. I definitely would recommend this place, especially if you're craving pho or any type of Vietnamese noodles! Perfect for a chilly day in the Bay Area. And the pricing is very reasonable. Parking is quite spacious.

Every time I let my bf pick a place to eat he defaults to Kevin's. Smh. I typically don't mind since I can never get sick of Vietnamese food and who doesn't enjoy a good bowl of pho? I love coming back to this place because the menu is vast, they are always consistent with the quality of food, service is good, quick and efficient, friendly and professional staff, the restaurant and restrooms are clean, and there is a parking lot in the rear. Even when the line is out the door we usually get a seat within 10-15 minutes. They have their shit down to a science which is pretty awesome. The waiters also take your orders on a iPad. Talk about embracing technology! Nice touch. I usually order the same thing every time I come. I get the meatball and tripei pho, rare steak on the side, with clear noodles, and extra onions. So freakin good!

Been here a couple of times and I was pleased. Compared to other Pho places, they skimp on meat, but the broth is delicious. I also tried #41. It came with soup and fish sauce, side, rice, a pork chop, eggroll, and two fried chicken wings. So much food for under $10! The pork chop was so tender. Anything coated with sweet, sticky, soy mixture over rice is a winner in my book! Fried chicken is up their with southern places and the eggroll dipped in Hoisin is yumm! On a side note, they open at 10, which is great for me because that's when my lunch is. I'm coming back for #41 alone.

Best Pho Ga in the east bay. And I've had a fair share of pho through out my life... Being that I'm vietnamese. ;) This deserves 1000 million stars. Lunch time is the best time, especially if you're on break from work or if you just want a solo date. (Treat yourself!) Dinner is fun for friends and/or family. Not here as often as I want to (which is everyday) but I'm definitely a regular and always will be!! Ps. ORDER THEIR THAI ICE TEA WITH OR W/O BOBA YOU WONT REGRET IT!!

I've grown up in the area all my life and have gone to the same Pho lines throughout. Though, this little location seems to be doing just as well as the other local solid Vietnamese locations--if not doing it a little better. I've gone to the Pho #'s in Pleasant Hill and Concord and always treat is as the regular, normal Vietnamese experience. This one, also called "Kevin's Noodle House," is a little more spacious with a nicer interior and more clientele than the other locations. I've always been a Vermicelli eater, and love pairing it with Grilled Shrimp. For $9.25 the dish was decent, tasty, cooked very well with a lovely thin rice vermicelli (it could've used more shrimp though). I also paired it with an Iced Vietnamese Black Coffee w/ Condensed Milk which was lovingly strong and black (what I love about Vietnamese coffee) that I had to water it down into basically two drinks (my whole water cup pretty much mixed into it to get the right balance). Solid Walnut Creek location. I've no complaints. When I want my Vietnamese food fix, this is the spot I'd love to go.

I don't like this specific location, I'd rather go to the concord one any day but my co workers usually insist going to this one since it's closer for them. Parking can be a headache. Their parking lot is minimal, about 10-12 parking spaces and then if you go up the road, their is a special area for "noodle house" parking and believe me, you'll see the signs that will indicate where you can park. Make sure you parking in the right area or the car garage employees will "tow" your car. When it's cold and when it's dinner rush, this place can get packed quickly and easily. They do have a clipboard where you write in your name and the amount of people are in your group and they'll call you as soon as a table gets cleared up. The reason why I don't like this location is because the food here tastes different compared to the concord one. And the pearl drinks here are iced down, barely any flavor. But what I can say tho is that the customer service here is a little more friendlier, at times. Concord one had the best customer service, but ever since the remodel, service has gone down.

YUM! Great place for lunch here. Been here a couple times. Recently, came here with my boyfriend for an early lunch. It wasn't too packed when we arrived and we were immediately seated. PARKING: Little lot in the back and street parking out front (metered). Cars turn over in the lot pretty quickly but it gets a little harder to find parking when it gets crowded. SERVICE: Quick! You're seated, drinks ordered, drinks come, food ordered, food comes in less than 10 mins. (even when it's busy!) MENU: Plenty of Pho options - I always get a bowl of Pho when I come here. A small will do for me and gets me full! My boyfriend ordered a large and it was probably twice the size of mine! Small was only $6.50 and his large bowl was $10.50. If you are eating with friends or with family, consider ordering a large bowl to share instead of 2 Smalls (it could work in your favor!) Plenty of rice plate options and drinks too. My boyfriend ordered a vietnamese iced coffee last time and it was strong and tasty. It's a drip brew so he basically had it for dessert (has condensed milk in it). Would def come back again for my Pho fix!

Pros: location, price, cleanliness, food, service Cons: haven't seen any yet Gist: Try it! Ill start this review with a disclaimer, it's the first Pho place I've tried in Walnut Creek. I've also been living in Minnesota for over a year...and that is essentially purgatory for Asian food. But I digress... Besides its bizarrely non-Vietnamese name, this is a legit Vietnamese restaurant that happens to be very clean and high-tech. I know that sounds like a total oxymoron but that's what I love about the bay area. Forget about the usual hallmarks of legit asian food - bad service, even worse bathrooms, and plastic water glasses and chopsticks that are so old you can't even tell if they're clean or not. Kevin's is really clean...and most importantly, well-ventilated. This means you will NOT smell like your pho when you leave. That's key for anyone who interacts with non-Asian people...i.e. EVERYONE. You walk in, sit down, and thankfully, the most important asian restaurant trait is still in full effect, service is ruthlessly quick b/c they want you to order ASAP. Except, they even use tablets to take your order! I ordered Pho Ga (chicken) and spring rolls. I always get Pho Ga at a new place bc it's really easy to see if they sheist you with crappy chicken, overly greasy broth, etc. Well, the chicken was of good quality and the broth was solid, not 5 star OMG, but still very solid. Spring rolls were fresh and excellent. So, is this the best Pho place ever? Calm down, sit down. No it isn't but I don't even know if that place exists. Is this a good Pho place that is a solid option for you? Absolutely!

I've come here many times for lunch. The thing I like about it most is that you can either take your time or you can eat quick and get out. I've been there and if I need to leave I can always be in and out of that place in 25 min or so. The food is also very good, other then some Pho places in San Jose, this place comes close to what those places have. The place is pretty cheap and a bowl of pho is oftentimes cheaper then getting a sandwich in Walnut Creek. Overall, I go to this place probably way too often and it's very good.

Love their pho and their rice plates! It is clean inside, and they are quick to take your order. My husband orders their beef and their shrimp paste- both are very yummy.

I had the seafood combo, the flavor of the soup was good and the noodles are good I had 2 shrimps only which was weak, 3 pieces of squid and a bunch of fish cake - never had fish cake before and it will be my last The spring rolls were really good But the egg roll were not good, no idea what was in them but not good Service was friendly and quick

On my mental list for 2 years, I *finally* made my way to the Noodle House after moving to Walnut Creek this winter. In 2 weeks, we've been here 3 times, and I don't see that slowing down anytime soon! Things that immediately stand out are the open, well-lit, welcoming environment, super-quick and friendly service, and the fact that this place is always packed! People flow in and out with solid turnover, so if you have to wait for a bit, don't despair! It's well worth hanging out for a few minutes, and if the weather's half-alright, grab a seat outside, especially if you're looking for a date night vibe. It can get a little loud inside depending on how many large parties are grubbin', but you'll always have plenty of elbow room. Little kids dig their noodles, too, so beware the occasional squawker. The service is seriously on point. The guys here run around with iPads to take your order in less than 10 seconds. The numbered menu makes ordering a snap, and we usually get our entire order in less than 5 minutes after it's been taken down. The menu is both varied and succinct simultaneously - apps like spring rolls and main dishes that consist of Pho 40+ ways, rice plates, and vermicelli. They've also got Vietnamese coffee, iced tea, and bomb boba smoothies ($3.75). Try the Avocado Smoothie - you'll never go to Quickly again. The prices are what keep us coming back - $6.50 for a small bowl of Pho, $7.25 for a medium; I've never even been able to consider a large, the bowls are already so big. Vermicelli bowls run around $8.50, and we always leave with leftovers. I've tried the rare beef, beef brisket, and meat combo Pho, and they were all amazing (though I personally prefer the chicken stock-based soups). After eating 5+ different kinds of animals here, I'm pretty confident that they'll cook anything right. It may not be in sexy downtown WC, but this place is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area. Great no matter how big of a crew you're rolling with (I've seen plenty of solo eaters) - just save room for boba!

Being up in the Bay Area a lot for work, I'm almost never in SF, mostly in Oakland and the East Bay, so generally speaking, I do have a hard time finding any good Asian food places, which always surprises me. It's not like LOTS of Asians don't live here. Anyways, meeting up with an old colleague, she suggested meeting here for dinner. Service is super quick. You order and get your food rather quickly. Seating didn't take long, since people get their food quickly they leave quickly. Typical Pho restaurant menu, there are a variey of Pho and other rice and noodle dishes. I was a big bummed that their egg rolls were only one kind and it had pork and shrimp inside, but I saw the ladies next to me with chicken wings, so I had to get that. Chicken wings were pretty delicious. Nicely fried with a decent crust. I ordered #17 in small. Small is probably a good size for me. I never do get to finish most Pho bowls when I've been to other places. Pretty good in my opinion, as expected. Parking is a bit tricky. they do have a little bit of parking behind the restaurant, if you get lucky someone will be coming out while you are coming in. Street parking isn't the easiest unless you get lucky and grab a spot right in front.

What the PHO did I get myself into?! Really, what the PHO?! As soon as I found myself making a U-turn to find Pho Huynh Hiep 6- Kevin's Noodle House, Brian and I thought, "OH YOU FANCY HUH?!" Parking can be a handful since there's very few slots in the rear of private parking lot and very few street parking spots on the side. I was impressed by the ambiance as soon as I walked into the door. The tables were extremely clean, employees looked professional by wearing all black from head to toe, did I mention the bathrooms doesn't look like your typical Pho spot? It was so clean that it could pass as one of the extremely clean hotel bathroom! This Pho spot is pretty unique. Although it still has it's Vietnamese charm, you get to sit with other customers on the same large table. It's nice that they placed the spoons and other condiments in the center; otherwise, it would've been a bit awkward. Also, I really liked how they used tablets to take the orders of customers instead of the typical food ordering check. When I came to Pho Huynh Hiep 6- Kevin's Noodle House, I ordered myself a Number 13 and A.2. The Number 13 was beef pho with steak and brisket. The meat was juicy and tender especially when squeezed with the lime they provided on the side. Also, their broth the lightest flavored tasting broth I've ever had. It's not extremely heavy and bold in flavors and oil. Also, the A.2 was delicious. The spring rolls matched the price and their peanut sauce to dip the spring rolls was something I would never forget! The peanut sauce was extremely bold in it's peanut flavor and the way it was made was just perfect! However, one thing I would like to see improvement on is the customer service. Although I liked the friendliness of the host and consistent water re-filling, the waiting staff could be more attentive. Brian and I found ourselves sitting next to the another couple beside us for about a good 15 minutes; in fact, they arrived at the same time we did. The sad thing was the couple beside us got their orders and food first which made happy Aubrey into a grumpy hungry Aubrey. Other than that, I definitely recommend this pho spot to friends living out in Walnut Creek. It would make a cool place to dine-in the summer because there's outdoor seating that could give you a new perspective on eating Vietnamese food. However, as long as the customer service is little better next time, I won't feel like pho'king someone up when I'm feeling pho-sty (pho+thirsty).

Kevin's serves up a decent bowl of pho. Sure, there might be better out there, but this place is just right. The small bowl is a deal at less than $7 depending on the number you order. I ordered rare beef, flank and tendon. A lot of place skimp on tendon (which is my fave), not here!! Service is basic - aimed at getting you in and out for max table turnover, but friendly. The outdoor patio is serene as can be for facing Main Street. All in all, Kevin's is my go-to if I have to wait for my car to be serviced next door.

I will not say much because well PHO is always good. Not many places screw it up. But this place is off the hook. Its not like most places you go for PHO. Its super nice, with a new restaurant feel. The only issue is that they try to pack to many tables into this very large space. What you need to order is their fried chix. It is like the perfect compliment to the pho. I usually get spring roles but at this location you must get the fried chix.

Awesome spot for Lunch!! I came with my girlfriend on a Friday afternoon around 2pm for a late lunch. As we entered we were seated right away. We had a few minutes to look over the menu. The waiter came by to take our order from a tablet. I ordered the Beef and Tripe Pho, Goi Cuon and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Service was fast! We received our food within 5 minutes of ordering. I always rate the Pho on how I feel a few hours after I eat it, because the bad ones leave you thirsty from all the MSG.. I was thirsty for the rest of the afternoon and chugged a bunch of water..I feel that they do use MSG, but thats what probably makes the Pho taste good. The Goi Cuon was good, but the wrapper was very sticky making it very chewy.. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee was good. It was drip brewing throughout my whole meal, which made for a great dessert coffee. Especially since it's so sweet! Parking: Not ideal, the lot is small and can fill up quick!

When I'm home alone and hungry, I always think...... KEVIN('s)!!! Food is consistent, service is fast, restaurant is clean, and they take online orders. What more can you ask for?

My family and I love this place! We come at least once a week because the food is so good and we always receive fast and friendly service. The staff is awesome and they always recognize us when we come in. My 3 year old daughter loves this place and she will finish a whole service of chicken and rice!

I'm not a huge fan of Vietnamese food, but my wife and kids love their soup and come here often. I've now been converted to asking for Chicken Rice Noodle soup (#21 I think) whenever I am sick. Portions are huge, prices are very reasonable, quality is consistent. Parking is a pain and the place is always crazy busy - if they had a second floor it would be just as packed. Highly recommended.

I've been going to this place for years now, and I guess it's really become my one of my favorite places for pho in this area. Every time I walk in, there are days when it's busy, days when it's not. Majority of the times, it's busy! Reasons for the bump up from three to four: 1) Service - They seem to take your order fast, and the bowl comes out nice and hot every time. Always friendly, no complaints. 2) Price - Two medium bowls of pho, and an appetizer. Usually comes out to about $25. 3) Flavor - With pho, the broth has been consistent, and the noodles pretty firm. Although the last time, the noodles were kinda weak. If it's not firm, that means the noodles have been soakin' in the broth. Not good. As for their bun, it's away filling when you get this. Not to mention the crunchiness of the spring rolls. 4) Medicinal satisfaction on eating pho on cold days like this! Amen!

  • Mai T.

Had the beef stew with the pho rice noodles. So good! Broth was tasty, aromatic, cuts of brisket was meaty, had tendon and super tender. I made a dipping sauce of salt black pepper, lime and the chili from the table, to eat with the meats, and it was so satisfying. All for the price if $6.75 (under $7) I was so content! Vietnamese food @ Vietnamese prices makes for a happy Vietnamese girl!

There is something vitalizing and restorative about a clean pho place amidst a hangover. This is probably the most well-staffed, organized and cleanest pho place I've ever dined in - servers ready to take your order, bussers ready to bus, cashiers ready to drop off the check. No one was pushy, just ready to make your pho experience quick and clean. Food Pho - Overall solid. I judge on the three basic criteria: soup, noodles, and meat. I might add, also in that order. I really don't have anything too critical worth mentioning. Have I had better soup, noodles, or meat? Sure. But would I eat at this pho place again? Anytime. Fresh Spring Rolls - Not bad. Very well wrapped. Filling could have been a little more exciting and generous. Sauce was almost too well-seasoned. Shrimp cake - Not bad again. I like to think they make it . Seemed different. A little fresher than your average shrimp cake. Watermelon Shake - More like slushy. Delicious. Very refreshing. Side note - I've been trying to figure out what brand of hoisin they use. It's not the usual way-too-processed-smooth-and-shiny hoisin. It's a touch grainy. Feels more real. I like it. About my pho credibility - I eat a lot of pho. And I drive about 45 minutes to this place, pay a bridge toll and bypass 3 credible pho places to eat here. The belly wants what it wants.

Best Vietnamese food in the area by a long shot. Great prices, menu options, and food and their restaurant is extremely efficient. Their quality is always consistent and it's what keeps us coming back. We've never had to wait for a table or for our food. Please open a location in the San Ramon/danville area!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I've been going as a little kid and I will be going off to college in a year. The staff is super friendly and my mom always makes talk with the girls working there haha. The food is always super super bomb and I love everything. The only downside is once we ordered pick up and they forgot the sides for the pho but that's okay. We called them to just inform them and they were really apologetic about it. Great place!

I've gone to the SF location and didn't like it.. so I was a bit hesitant to try this location. But the food quality is night and day! What do we like? The pork chops are fantastic.. great flavor with a nice char to them... very delish! And the pho is also very good... the broth, which is the most critical component, is on point. Nice flavor and good amount of noodles. If you know what you want and order right away, you can be in and out in a hurry!

I love this place. It's away from the downtown area of Walnut Creek and there's not a lot of parking in their rear lot, but the food is consistently good. My favorites are the chicken pho, chicken and rice, and the shrimp cakes. The chicken had an impressive, balanced blend of Vietnamese spices. They skimped on the chicken a few times, but most of the time I received a decent amount. The pho is consistently very good and guaranteed to please. The service was generally very fast and the hosts ensured that people were seated ASAP. Be careful coming here for lunch - it can be very busy and the wait can be somewhat long because this is a popular lunch destination. Dinner time is generally very relaxed and I've always gotten seated and served very quickly during this time.

In the battle of poor, rushed, ill-timed service and decent food, decent food could not save this restaurant from a 2 star rating. I've been up here in the east bay for 4 weeks now and I've yet to find a truly strong 4 or 5 Asian restaurant. I had really high hopes after seeing the glowing reviews about this place, so I decided to take my mom out to dinner tonight for some Vietnamese. We arrived around 8pm tonight and the restaurant was humming with business. It was about 3/4 full. We got sat within about 5 minutes, so we were happy. What happened after that was very poor, amateurish service. First when we were being led to the table, the older waiter (the one with glasses) threw our menus on the table like someone tossing junk mail in a large bin. So we sat down and were talking about what we wanted to eat. My mom has been to this place a few times, so she was pointing out some good items. About a minute later, the same old guy with the glasses is just hovering over us with his ipad just...hovering. Doesn't say a single thing, just hovers. So now I'm getting irritated, so I say "We're not ready". He doesn't say a single thing, just walks off. Ok I know what you might be thinking: that this guy isn't too well versed in English and he just can't communicate well in English. Oh, and that I should be more culturally sensitive. But here's my thought: he does this every day. This is his job. You mean to tell me that he can't say some basic phrases that he'd repeat every day? C'mon man. Ok, rant over. So after deciding what we wanted to eat, he walks over again and says nothing. Not a "Are you ready to order?" Or maybe a "What would you like?" Just stands there. So my mom (bless her heart) just says "FORTY ONE". I was kinda taken aback, but it's kind of the mood that this guy put us in. So I just said the numbers of what I wanted to order too (but a little more politely---chix wing appetizer and bun) and a name of a dessert drink i ordered (che bau mau). He walks off. Doesn't confirm the order by repeating. Nothing. Just walks off. Whisky Tango Foxtrot. So everything comes out in reverse order, no joke. Dessert drink, food, then chix wings. I believe this is just yet another Asian restaurant where its all above getting the food out asap regardless of the order. I'm not done ranting about the sub-par service, but yes, I want to talk about the food. The food was actually decent. Perhaps it could've tasted better had a better mood been set. The chix wings were just normal fried chicken wings served w/ lettuce and some veggies. The wings were plump, a good thing. I'd order it again but with more people. The beef bun that I ordered was a bit below average, mainly because I don't enjoy the thicker, rounder rice noodles. But also, the beef didn't taste as good as others I've had. The worst thing that I ordered was the egg rolls. Very disappointing. I wonder if they buy them in bulk. Che bau mao was good. I'd order that again. So back to the shoddy service. In the middle of our meal, I see another person in their restaurant come around and start dropping off checks regardless of whether or not they started, were in the middle or just finished their meals. I HATE THIS MORE THAN ANYTHING. It sends the wrong message to the customer that paying the bill is more important than you enjoying your meal. That just made the whole experience go from bad to good to bad again. And that wasn't the end of it. So my mom and I were talking and digesting and then the bus boys come around to clean the tables of the people who just left. Again, THE PEOPLE WHO JUST LEFT. And after the bussers finished with their tables, then the guy eyes our table. Now I'm really irritated and i give him kind of the evil eye as if to say "wait til we leave". He doesn't get the hint and what does he say? "Are you done?" By this time I've given up on this place and just said yes, we're going. I don't think I'll be back to this place. While the food was decent, this place really has a lot to learn about the basics of customer service. I don't expect five-star Michelin service at a place like this, but if your wait staff can't say hello, repeat the order back, say thank you. Or if your idea of meal timing is to reverse the order of the meal. Or if you bring out the customer's check in the middle of their meal and have your bussers clear the table while the customers are talking after their meal, you have a lot to learn. Good food will only carry a restaurant so far, at least from my experience.

This is probably one of the biggest pho restaurants in town with plenty of tables (though not necessarily available if it is a busy night!) but generally speaking you can be seated without reservation no problem. The food is pretty legit in the few items I've had which is the pho and the charbroiled pork chops! The broth is pretty tasty and not too oily. Go for the two pork chops with rice dish for only less than a dollar difference. Great staff and overall great place! The parking is on the small size and you often have to go up the hill parking lot.

Exceptional food first of all. The appetizer came really quick and then our main dishes came very shortly after. The plate sizes were huge and very filling. I ordered pork chops with fried chicken over rice. Although there was a good amount of fat from the pork chops, there was still sufficient amount of meat! Parking in the back is a lot! -Edmund Best Vietnamese food in Walnut Creek. Considering the amount of people in the restaurant, the parking lot in the back is quite small. You sort of have to be lucky to get a spot. We saw people just drive away because they couldn't find one. There was a small wait inside the restaurant, but it goes by really quick. We got shrimp spring rolls for the appetizer and it was probably the best I've ever tasted. I got grilled pork chops over rice for my meal and it was okay compared to places in San Francisco. -Kristen 5 stars for Edmund, 3 stars for Kristen. 4 stars from us :)

I came in here for lunch with my boss, I've never been to a place like this before.. Service was good, it was packed during lunch, but still pretty quick! The guy answered my questions & helped me figure out what to order.. The appetizers came out with the soup, I wish they would've come out first because we were starving to death.. But its okay, everything tasted good and we were both full! Parking is a challenge because the lot in back is tiny, but we got lucky & found a good spot. Be prepared to hunt for parking during lunch or dinner!

I have always been a fan of pho and was very excited when kevin's opened so close to where I live. The basic pho is good, but I find that I need to add the chili to give it more flavor. Another weird thing is they put these artificial seafoody type things in the soup. I have also had the pork chops here. They're very good, but they've gotten progressively saltier each time I come back so that's a little confusing. Service is pretty good I guess; they're fast, and they use an ipad to take your order. The biggest downside to kevin's is that the parking now sucks because they closed off the top section. If you're looking for some fast Vietnamese food for cheap prices kevin's is definitely the best in the walnut creek area!

I love love love this place ever since it opened. I used to eat at their other chain in Concord, but I was so glad to hear that they opened a new one in Walnut Creek!! The noodle soups are so tasty and their waiters are just too sweet I go there at least once every month If you love noodles and want a delicious and fulfilling meal then you have to go there!!

Kevin's Noodle House is one of my all time favorite places to eat. There are several things to look for when evaluating a Pho restaurant, and this place nails all of them. 1. The place is always packed (particularly with the same ethnicity as the food is, hinting at some authenticity). 2. The broth is dark and flavorful (good pho always has dark broth otherwise it's just going to be watered down.) 3. The pearls in the boba are SO fresh! I absolutely insist on trying them, even if in the past you didn't fancy the taste or texture they are amazing here! (I personally favor the Taro flavor). The freshness of the pearls is likely due in part to the fact that they sell so much that they always have fresh new stock, nothing even gets the opportunity to sit around. 4. The service is quick and friendly. It's just one of those places where they really earn a huge tip and a smile every time. Honestly, I can't say enough about Kevin's Noodle House. I am a lifelong fan. If it's your first time at a Pho restaurant, I highly recommend ordering: A2 (fresh spring rolls with shrimp and peanut sauce- it is served as an appetizer) 17 (a beef bowl with thin cut steak and wonderful rice noodles- if the beef looks red just submerge it in the broth and it will brown right up!) And of course don't leave without trying a boba! (I always advise avoiding the Americanized flavors of boba no matter where you go. Taro and Jackfruit just have such a magical taste and you won't have the same kind of expectations as you would ordering a strawberry). Good Luck! Hope you enjoy it!

Very good service. They are fast and efficient. They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. My favorite is the saifun with seafood. Despite the busyness, my wait has never been more than ten minutes.

EVENT: Got my weekly fix of pho! I wanted to explore another great pho place... so, here I tried, and of course with the help of yelp... came across Kevin's Pho Place... YUMS! SERVICE: We got sat down really fast, and got our order in super fast! 5 stars FOOD/DRINKS: Here's what we got: (1) Pho - steak on the side, small bowl- delish.. and my favorite is the raw, raw thin beef on the side. The soup steaming hot... thin slice of beef cooked perfectly in the hot soup! YUMS! 4 stars (2) Viet Beef Stew - light broth, lots of meat, with pho noodles. 3 stars (3) Vietnamese Iced Coffee - this was kinda like pre-made... they bought it out super fast... so, we were able to just able to mix, and pour the coffee over our ice. 4 stars! **OVERALL - quick viet coffee and pho - was the best. 4 stars overall!

My first Pho experience and it was amazing! I took my son and family here for lunch today! My son and I had the #8 bowl, his wife #10. We also got an order of yummy Spring Rolls and the Shrimp Cakes. The peanut sauce was delicious as were those tasty cakes! We had my 1 year old grand daughter with us. She loved it too! We also had a refreshing glass of Thai Tea. Definitely putting this on my " Go Back To" list!!

Every time I had driven passed it after work, I would see how crowded this place was so I needed to check it out. I came here with a friend while getting my car fixed at the dealership nearby, which is nice when you are just sitting around and have nothing to do. So, we casually walked down to Kevin's Noodle House and enjoyed some delicious Vietnamese food. I had no idea that this was another sister store of the one in Concord, Oakland until after I looked it up. I've gone to the one in Concord so many times and hadn't realized it was the same chain, but I still like the pho better in the Concord store. Here's my analysis of their pho when I went: The soup was super flavorful and it's most likely the same recipe I've tasted at the other ones, so that was expected. The only thing that made me not like it so much was that my noodles were not as chewy as I normally like it. Some places consistently either have tasty broth/soft noodles or flavorless broth/chewy noodles, but rarely both. I understand how hard it is to make the broth so the flavor of that definitely trumps the noodles. Thirdly, I feel like they skimped out on the beef because I didn't get as much as I do at the other store, but the cut and texture of the beef was perfect. I suspect because of the location that might cause an increase in price and decrease of product. But otherwise, based on the pho so far -- I give it 3.5 stars. What made me elevate their rating to a 4 was their excellent service! After we were seated one of the workers even asked us if we wanted to move tables so we could get out of the sunsetting, eye-level glare. Just because of that, I tipped them a little more, knowing that they really care for their customers. I didn't have to deal with parking because of what I mentioned above, but a major downfall to this location is the lack of parking. It's a great business model on their part because this location is catered more towards the office workers nearby. Overall, my experience was great, but I think I'll stick to the Concord one for convenience and slightly better quality IMO.

I am never disappointed. Unless you want to go to the city, or closer to it, Kevin's is the best hometown Vietnamese food in the Walnut Creek area. A tip to those in a hurry, call in your To Go order, probably like any other place but still, even though it only takes 15-20 minutes by the time you drive there and pay it will be almost ready. In fact, I got off Bart in WC got to my car, Yelped Kevin's and gave them a call. Placed my order ( via hands free conversation of course ) while driving over there and waited for a parking spot. Yes I probably could have parked and walked but I made a family order and it only took me 10 minutes to get there so I had some time to kill before my food was ready. Parking tip: it's a tight lot to get in and out of. Save yourself some trouble and reverse park, so much easier to get out.

What happened to all the pedophile comments? I thought reviews couldn't be removed. I think yelpers have a right to know about the history of this establishment.

This place is all about the pho. The pho is fabulous with the freshest most flavorful ingredients in huge portions. The place is bright and clean with fast service. It can get very busy at peak times when parking can also be a challenge. I've tried some other dishes besides the pho but would only rate them 3 or 3.5 whereas the pho is a 4.5 or 5. I also recommend this for take out. For about $8 You can get enough soup and fresh ingredients, in a separate bag to add according to taste, for two large meals.

If you're ever in walnut creek and craving for pho come to this place. For me and my boyfriend this is our to go place now days. I used to come here with my friends back in highschool and ever since I brought my boyfriend here, he likes going to this place too now. Depending on the day, they're either busy and you need to be put in a wait list or Noones really there and you can be seated right away. The past few times my boyfriend and I went was around 2-3 on a weekend and they weren't as busy. BEWARE though, when Kevin's is busy, there literally is NO parking! There's a little parking spot right in back of the place that fits like 8-10 cars, but other than that you need to go up a hill and even then there's barely any parking. Food wise, they have many choices to choose from. From pho, go egg rolls, to rice plates and boba. I guess your typical Vietnamese pho place though. Too bad they don't have any Banh mi's though. My boyfriend always orders the rice plate: rice, porkchop, eggs, some noodle thing and a side of soup(my boyfriends favorite). I always order the pho: chicken pho, but the other day I decided to try the seafood pho with thin noodles and it was pretty bomb. Oh can't forget the fried egg rolls. For me they aren't the best ones I've tasted but it's good. Service service service. Is awesome! They're all super friendly. Whenever we go there they never fail to make me N my boyfriend laugh. Try this place out! You won't regret it :)

I love pho, let's just start at that. I used to go to their Concord location in college and it was pretty much my go to place until I heard they were opening one in walnut creek. Now walnut creek is my go to pho restaurant! Let me just say the food is really good, but the service is equally as great. I've been going here since they opened and have since become a regular so the staff knows who I am by now and they are always so friendly. I always get #4, though I also like #18 and 22A if you like chicken. Their rice plates are also really really good, they offer a lot for what you pay. I typically get the 2 porkchops with an egg on top. Their Vermicelli bowls are really good on a hot day when it's too hot for pho (if that is even possible lol). I've been to a few of their other places and they're pretty consistent, but this place is my fav mostly bc if the staff. This location has been getting a lot more crowded and popular lately though, which I feel like has affected the pho and the love that's put into it. It's a good thing they opened yet another location in concord which means I'll probably be going there more often than walnut creek. But if you like affordable (abs delicious) pho, friendly service, and a clean Vietnamese restaurant (bc let's be real, they aren't usually this nice), then Kevin's is a definite must!

My mom had been wanting to try this place out, so she suggested we go here. First off, there's a private lot which is incredibly convenient. The restaurant is pretty big and there's indoor and outdoor seating. It was a warm night, so we sat outside. They were closing shortly, so they rushed us to order quickly. The service here isn't the friendliest, but the food and prices make up for that. The menu is pretty extensive, but since we had to order very quickly, we did. I got the beef stew (I think it was H Tiu Bò Kho), and my mom and boyfriend both got Ph Gà. My mom got a small and she actually had leftovers, so I tried hers. Hers was a bit boring, but I don't really like pho ga, so I don't know if I'm a good judge on that. My boyfriend and I both ordered medium-sized bowls which was a good size for us. It's cool that they offer small, medium, and large bowls. I really enjoyed my dish! I am definitely going back and ordering it again. It was very flavorful! Also, the prices here are super affordable; it's $5.25, $5.95, and $6.75 for small, medium and large respectively. Also, the service was incredibly quick! We had our dishes right away. I'm teetering between and 4 and 5 stars. I'm going with a 5 stars because this is one of the better restaurants in Walnut Creek and it's very affordable! It has easy parking and quick service too. Also, this is a small local chain. There are 5 locations including SF, Daly City, Concord, Oakland, and this spot in Walnut Creek. I have only ever been to this location.

Ordered the pho ga and pho tai bo vien. The chicken in pho ga is over cooked. Broth is slightly salty but okay. The pho Bo broth has a fatty taste from the marrow. They are super efficient here and friendly service. Bathrooms are clean. I will come here again to try rice plates. Chicken wings are nice and crispy.

Wow this place was a total surprise gem! My boyfriend and I went in and noticed the place was PACKED, we sat down anxiously and were prompted to sign ourselves in. Much to our suprise a table for 2 took only a few minutes. The whole cafeteria feel is usually not my favorite but the service was prompt and the waiter was kind enough to answer our questions (we both have severe food allergies). We ordered two pho bowls (I believe the #23 &44) and an iced Vietnamese coffee to share. Boy were we not disappointed ! The flavors were rich, not watered down, and the chunks of meat were good in portion. Ultimately we were shocked when such an amazing meal came out about $18 + tip. We will ABSOLUTELY be back. Parking sucks BTW, not their fault - see if you can get in on the street parking which is free after 8.

THE BROTH IS PERFECT. That's a pretty good reason to come here. I always order their Pho Ga because their broth is really good and makes the whole thing delicious. I went with a friend who had one of their bun dishes and said it was pretty good as well. My aunt also came with me once and said her seafood pho was good because they didn't overcook the seafood and the broth wasn't over-seasoned. I also order their avocado smoothie with pearls. It's very subtle and tasty, not powder. For some people the idea of an avocado smoothie is crazy but you will be surprised how pleasant it is on your palette. Also useful if you're looking for something to neutralize or calm your palette after spicy food then the creaminess from the avocado is great! Come here and come here early, not during a typical lunch or dinner hour or you will be waiting. But if you are waiting it should be long because Vietnamese restaurants are usually fast at everything they do! One note for the restaurant: Good location being near busy streets and close to the freeway but you need a bigger parking lot!! ASAP

Wow was I surprised! (In a good way) I don't get the 3.5 stars on yelp. I came to this place since it was close to my destination for an early dinner. The restaurant looks clean and service was fast. I love the waiter who takes orders on his ipad, I think it adds to the speed of the service. The pho here is good, the broth isn't overly salty and taste authentic. My FAVORITE is the pork chop! YUM! My first visit here I wasn't expecting much since it was rated 3.5 stars and I was not feeling for pho so I got the rice plate with everything: egg roll, pork chop, fried chicken wing. The egg roll was okay, I've had better; chicken wing was bland, but that's expected from a rice place. BUT the pork chop was OMG juicy! So now when the bf and I go, we always order the pork chop rice plate and a bowl of pho. We split everything so we can have some of each :3 They definitely get 5 stars from me to balance out those outlier reviews! I shall be back!

I've been looking to try Kevin's Noodle House for some time, and finally got the opportunity today! I will say I was a little disappointed -- the summer rolls tasted odd to me (might have been the pork -- I'm used to just shrimp), and the grilled chicken that I ordered had quite a bit of grizzle and toughness (I think it might have been left over from the day before). But the food was good enough to bring home with me when I couldn't finish it. My biggest complaint was the service; we were seated right away, and then -- I felt -- we were ignored as the tables all around us received attention. We had no idea who our server was even going to be; we just got blank looks when the staff happened to look our way and catch our anxious eye (we were hungry and thirsty). We waited 10 minutes before someone came over to our table for the first time after we were seated. It was more we didn't even get a nod and a "be right with you" than the fact that we had to wait. It was busy and lunchtime -- you have to expect some wait. I wouldn't say that I wouldn't go back, but I'll try other places first.

It's ok if your desperately needing a bowl of pho in Walnut creek. The best place in contra costs county is by far Saigon Bistro in Concord. The food is good and always consistent

You will get food poisoning here. Not the first time it has happened personally. This place serves dog food redressed and up sold to the naive walnut creek masses. Kind of like their taped on bathroom decorations that they were too cheap to get actually etched into the tile. Shady ripoff. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

This place never fails to deliver. I know some people would complain about the long lines... well, that in itself should tell you how yummy this place is. You just have to kind of figure out when to go (get there before 11:30, and you won't wait for a seat). I always get the #14, medium rare thin sliced steak and well done flank. Extra bean sprouts are always free (awesome, since I absolutely LOVE bean sprouts). On a cold and drizzly day, the food just always hits the spot! If you do want an appetizer, just note that it will take longer to prepare than if you were just to order pho... so I've have had many times the pho come first, and then eventually, the appetizer gets to the table. For kids, you can order the kid bowls and ask for a pair of scissors... they bring you scissors in a cup of hot water, and cutting up the noodles definitely makes it easier for the kids to eat.

Pros: Decent pho, not the greatest, not the worst Prices are affordable Interior is nice Service is fast Cons: Small parking lot. Their neighbors will tow if you park in their lots too. If you see street parking nearby, grab it.

I still remember the first Kevin's Noodle House in Concord I went to. Cheap and decent. This one is decent but maybe a little more expensive. Parking can be tricky, they have a small parking lot and then another lot up the hill. I was craving Pho on this cold Monday night and didn't feel like driving to Oakland or SF. Service was sloooowwww. We waited 10 minutes before anyone took our order and 20 minutes for our Pho. I was hangry and about to steal a spring roll from the table next to me. Decent broth and pho for sure, noodles are cooked well but my steak feels a bit tough and I asked for it on the side too. I think the meat quality may be average. I'd still come back as this is the only decent pho place I've found in the area.

The food is decent, but the service is just alright. Our waiter, David, according to my receipt, seemed really distracted and didn't really look at us when we were placing our order. After he left, we received our food before we got water or our boba ($3.50 each). When they brought the water with the boba, another lady came out and tried to give us more water cups, although the ones we already had were in plain view on the table. Also, my coconut boba didn't have boba. David asked about boba in the taro, which I confirmed so I assumed he knew we wanted boba in the other drink I ordered, since it's listed as having boba on the menu and I had just told him I wanted boba. At least there wasn't a problem with them taking back the drink to add boba. Both the taro and coconut were adequately sweet and I loved that there were chunks of actual coconut in my slushy! On the less yummy side, there were definitely some old/undercooked boba mixed in and the way they present the drink makes it look like only half the drink has boba, so I felt cheated. After I shook the cup to get the boba properly settled, I found that I actually received an appropriate serving of boba, in ratio to the drink. More on ratios soon! We split a rice plate #52A ($8.80), which had barbecue beef and a spring roll with rice noodles and topped with peanuts. It was plenty for two moderately hungry adults. It was even a bit heavy on the beef side! Let me explain more: I have a certain ratio of my protein to starch because I like to have my lighter starch compliment the bolder protein flavor. By the time I had maintained my protein:starch ratio with all of the noodles, I was left with more beef, which NEVER happens! Rest assured that they don't skimp on the meat here. BONUS: there's some parking in the back, half of which is completely shaded by the building! Overall, decent food at decent prices, but nothing to rave about. I probably won't be back since it's out of my way.

I ordered the noodle salad bowl with grilled chicken and an egg roll, everything was tasty, fresh, & a generous serving. Tried a small bowl of beef pho, with rare beef and brisket combo - broth was very tasty. Just wish there were more vegetarian selections on menu, and more dishes without noodles or rice for those of us that watch our intake of refined carbohydrates. Menu also needs more fish options. Overall it was very good!

I eat a lot of Vietnamese food, but this place is hands down the worst I've ever been to. Multiple reasons, but one outweighs the rest. Service: I had the utmost worst customer service experience ever. First off, I am completely accepting of customer service at asian restaurants as it is virtually non-existent. This place isn't your typical asian restaurant you'll notice upon entering, it's definitely on the fancier side. Remember you're in Walnut Creek, not San Jose or Sacramento. I ordered a bowl of Bún Tht Nng Ch Giò, as I began mixing the contents in my bowl, I found a thick long strand of black hair. We told the man that there was hair in my bowl and he seemed really confused, he looked at the bowl and then at us for a few seconds.. I was confused, but he apologized for it. I was forgiving, until he took it to the back and started talking to the other employees in Vietnamese. Let me be clear, I am not Vietnamese, but I understand Vietnamese and I was dining with a Vietnamese person. We both knew what they were saying, but we chose to continue communicating in English. They basically said that I had planted the hair in the bowl, I was so pissed off because my hair is light brown and very thin, definitely not BLACK or THICK at all. The guy was so apologetic to us and brought out another bowl. I was so angry that I couldn't finish the food. Food: Although I didn't finish my bowl of Bún, I will review it with no bias due to the crappy customer service. It was mediocre, the pork was marinated well, but the bowl lacked vermicelli and fresh veggies and the egg roll was very soft. That's all I will say, because I couldn't try the rice plate we ordered. Parking: Small lot behind the restaurant, private lot, easy to find parking and convenient. You don't have to worry about finding a structure, like most WC restaurants. Price: Cheap and comparable to other Viet places. Overall: I will not be coming back to this place because of my customer service experience and because the food was just ok.

What a pho-tastic place. :) I really enjoyed my pho experience here. Great food (we only had pho), good service, and nothing sticky about this place. My friend who took me told me this is fancy pho place, and now I believe him. Lol.

When we first got there, we were seated right away. However, the server was very rude. When we asked questions about the amount of noodles in the different sizes of bowl- he raised his voice and was speaking in a condescending manner. Then I asked if I could have a tofu instead of chicken and he got even more mad. This place has no vegetarian options. I just went with the chicken pho. The food came out pretty fast, but when my boyfriend and I tasted it-it was as basic as basic can be. I was not impressed with the broth, almost tasted like they just make mass amounts of soup and not put time into a good pho soup. I think this place got good reviews because people have not been exposed to real pho. If you want a quick place to eat, this place is great. But other than that I would not come back again.

Great noodle bowls and bubble tea. Stopped here on the way from airport to San Rafael. Arrived during a very busy lunch time and we were seated in a few minutes. Looked like mostly locals dining so we thought it was a good choice. My daughters Honey Dee Bubble tea was excellent as were her rolls. The noodle bowls came quickly, great serving sizes. All were very good and reasonably priced. Very pleasant surprise, glad we stopped in.

I ordered the 33,and the broth was insane. Debbie had the 50, and it was the best version of this dish she has ever had. The only drawback were the fresh rolls...use the bbq pork guys. This is a major score in Concord.

This is a well established Vietnamese family style restaurant in Main Street in Walnut Creek. It is in a new building, the ambiance are simple and clean with some communal tables. The service is outstanding with great servers who remember the regulars orders by memory and take your order using iPad. Do to the technology the food comes out fast so it's great for lunch during working hour, parking suck so get here early. Now the food delicious, tasty, light and healthy. The food is never greasy or heavy, it has great favors and great aroma. I love the seafood soup and the spring rolls. This place will not disappoint you.

The service is great! The food is so fast and this has to be the best looking pho restaurant I've ever seen. Soup noodles are so Felicia. Pho Tai beef on the side. And grilled pork chop with a nice runny egg and egg roll. My favorites. I come here once a month. The price for dinner for 2 you can't beat. Barely spend 20 bucks!

Good authentic and clean Vietnamese noodle place. Pho, vermicelli bun, or rice dishes are the popular rotation dishes. Fresh ingredients and garnishes. I usually get their iced Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk! Tasty and a nice caffeine kick. Always busy so expect a slight wait during peak hours.

Nice service. Clean restaurant. It gets packed fast. Soft summer rolls aren't that impressive. I think their on the smaller side and mine didn't have all the tasty herbs and pork in it. Pho is just okay. It's nothing to write home about. The chicken broth is pretty nice though, light and delicate. The fried chicken is generous though bland. Soy sauce and chili oil really helps. The twin likes the pork with fried egg. The fried spring rolls are my favorite!

I usually go to the Kevin's Noodle House in Concord but since they have been closed due to construction I decided to check the one in Walnut Creek. The restaurant was pretty busy and full at the time we went (Thursday 1pm) but they made room and seated us outside. I like how they have an outdoor patio. The weather was perfect to dine outside. The only thing I didn't like was there were flies flying around our food and table. We kept having to shoo them off our food while we were eating. I had the #2 beef pho, my friend got the beef stew soup and my other friend got the beef vermicelli noodle salad. I sampled my friends meals as well and all of our meals were very flavorful. The pork in the vermecelli salad tasted very fresh and good. We also got the avocado smoothie with "pearl" (tapioca) and thai iced tea which were great as well. All in all, my first experience was a good one. Our waiter was nice and offered to split our bill 3 ways, which was convinient and nice. I would have given this place 5 stars but the flies were such a nuisance that I'm giving 4 stars. I wish they could control the fly issue so customers can have a peaceful meal.

The parking isn't great- we had to park on the main street and pay a dollar for an hour of parking, but it wasn't too big of a deal since the parking meter accepts card. We came around 1:30 for lunch and got seated quickly. In the middle of the dining area, they have rows of 2 4-person tables attached to each other. It's great for bigger parties, but if there are two parties of 4 it may be weird slurping your soup next to a stranger. We didn't have that problem, but it's something to consider! My cousin's pho came out before she could come out of the restroom (super fast!). I ordered the pork/egg roll vermicelli bowl and didn't have to wait much longer for my food. The food is slightly more flavorful than other places I'm used to and I really enjoyed it! I feel that the pricing is really good for the portions they serve. I'll definitely be back!

Amazing phò! Never disappoints. Friendly and fast service. Parking isn't ideal for such a busy spot but we usually call ahead and carry out. If we do dine in we go before the rush (dinner is the more difficult to find Parking). Overall, great food and service!

Seriously. So delicious. I wished I lived closer so I could frequent there more often. I ordered the chicken, tofu pho. I recommend it. Service was a little curt, but besides that really enjoyed my experience there.

My second time here and will definitely keep coming back. Soup is good and so are the rice plates. Service was quick as well. Plan to arrive early though especially during peak hours or bringin a large party.. Parking is quite limited.

I love this place. I would eat here every day if I could. I would come here and get food by myself pretty often, but my wife was always apprehensive to try pho because she didn't know what it was. Finally I dragged her there and she enjoyed it so much that we come here about once a week on average. Now if we ever go anywhere else for pho, she complains it isn't as good as this place. There is parking in the back and street meter parking along North Main St. The waiters are super fast - they take your orders on a tablet so you get your food quickly. I have had about 10 different pho combinations here and they were all delicious. I like the chicken and shrimp pho the best by far though. This is my number one quick and inexpensive dinner restaurant in the area by far.

I don't know if they have to boil a chicken for days, or spray the place with boulion cubes, or sacrifice a small goat on every blue moon. But I believe this might be the first pho place I'm giving five stars. I usually never stray from the deluxe pho order but this place looked adventurous and I decided to try the boneless chicken noodle. The broth is phenomenal. You want comfort food? This chicken soup is the one. Ratings may lie, but lines don't. Locals say this place is packed during the lunch rush, even though they use some of the most sophisticated restaurant operations software I've ever seen.

This has to be the best pho house in the area. Service is pretty good and fast. They give you a lot of food, and it's also pretty good too. There are usually a good number of people (but not packed), so watch out for their small parking lot. It can be tricky finding another place to park if the lot is full.

I'll be the first to say I'm no pho expert however I thought this place was great. Speedy service, good prices, and great food! Their fried chicken appetizer is delicious and highly recommended. Huge pieces too. My chicken pho was great as well. Only downside to this restaurant is their limited parking... Bring a compact car.

  • Hieu L.

Warning, parking is horrible. They have about 12 parking spaces, try street parking instead. Didn't tried anything else but the Pho Dac Biet (combo), nothing exciting, just your standard Vietnamese issued pho. Did noticed the rice noodle was a bit on the overly well done breaking apart side. Service was ok, if you are Caucasian, they are cheery, happy, and joke with you, if you are Asian, you get a blank look.

    * Great pho, as good as any I have ever tasted * Cheap pricing ($5.25 to $8 for most pho items) * Friendly service * Shiny, new and clean building * They take credit cards! *F*I*V*E* stars! Aside from a couple quibbles I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food is great and prices are as cheap as you can find anywhere while the portions are average. We did not try any of the rice dishes, just the pho, so I'll have to do an update. We did get one of their boba drinks, the durian smoothie! It was awesome and smelled great too! My only complaints would be the limited parking and somewhat meager portion of veggies. We asked for a second plate of veggies and were accommodated. Lastly, I have no idea how they got from a name like "Pho Huynh Hiep 6" to "Kevin's Noodle House." Anyone with an explanation please message me!!! When in Walnut Creek and craving pho Kevin's is the go-to place. Hiep Hiep Hurray for Kevin's!

Pho is delicious when all the ingredients are perfect. There isn't a thing bad about it here I like that they prepared every bit of meat to be clean and perfectly sliced. I like that it's on the outskirts so parking is easier. It's still very close to downtown, I walked there in 10 minutes. Nice staff and good prices on food.

I've passed by this place thousands of times but was always too afraid to come because the parking looked terrible. I made a point to come before the lunch rush at 11am to make sure I get my spot. I guess I walked in the to-go door and had to walk through the tables to the front door. I started to sign in at the sign in binder but someone just came over and directed me to a seat. So nice! I was by myself so they took awesome care of me. Even if the food was meh the service is above average. Ordering was easy. I perused the menu and was looking for some type of stand out chicken and noodle combo. Then the waiter came over and just said "How about the Chicken Noodle soup?" And I just said yes thank you, that sounds good. It was like he read my mind. I also ordered the Coconut shake with Pearls. It was divine! On a hot summer like day along with hit soup, my goodness! I was not conscious of calories this day. My noodle soup was ok. Kind of plain but all of the ingredients were very fresh. Then suddenly what I thought was kind of busy became insanely busy. I would never come here during the lunch rush. Its also communal seating. Towards the end of my meal a mother and son joined me at the other side of the table. This is my new noodle spot. Only on off hours though. I'll pass up a bowl of ice cream for a bowl of hot noodles any day.

Big steaming bowls of PHO! This is definitely my goto place to get PHO. Service is fast and the PHO is good. I'm kind of boring because I just like the chicken or bbq pork but the selection of meats for your PHO is well worth the trip. It's clean and a fairly new location. Parking can be an issue.................warning!!! The Bubble tea is great and I often order take out and pick it up on my way home. Delicious!

I am Vietnamese and grew up eating pho 3 to 4 times a week. Nothing will ever be as good as mom's, but in fairness to Kevin's noodle house, it isn't half bad. This place does not hold a candle to the some of the places in San Jose or Westminster, but for east bay suburbs it is decent. The portion are fairly sized, the pho broth is not bone bases broth, but it has a decent taste. I thought the tripe, tendon, rare steak and well done brisket were good. We also had the fresh spring rolls which are good. I would recommend this place if you need to eat pho and are on the east bay burbs

Great food, poor customer service. Need to be more aware of customers needs from start to finish, even a simple refill of water goes a long way. Might have been a hit or miss night, most reviews rave about their customer service as good. I had a young guy only taking orders, another guy with tatts bussin the tables, and an older uncle taking the bill.

If you're in Walnut Creek, looking for a place where you can have lunch that's cheap, good and will definitely fill you up, this is your place. I've been here twice now, months apart from each other. The second time I came here, I was having flash backs to my first time. I got the same exact thing because it was that good. I ordered the special 22 b, which is the chicken and shrimp combo. I ordered a medium sized bowl, for just under eight dollars, and you get soooooo much food. They bring the bowls out, and a little plate of fresh cilantro and vegetables you can add to it. The broth is absolutely delicious, the chicken is good, the shrimp is tasty, and all the fresh vegetables just make it a complete meal. I'm not a huge fan of rice noodles but with all the other flavors going on in the bowl, everything tastes delicious. We also ordered the pork chop. I remembered how good it was from last time and the meal wouldn't be complete without it. So flavorful you won't believe it. A little fatty, and messy, but totally worth it. The only down side to this experience was we had to wait a long time to actually get our check. At least 10 to 15 minutes after we were done eating. Also one of the waiters just kind of stood around watching everyone eat. Was a little awkward. But all in all this place is amazing.

Consistently good & authentic. Being Asian this is our go to place for pho. Gets crowded but the wait isn't bad. Parking is a pain sometimes cuz the lot is small. Though I do wish they had other dishes like bun Bo hue or bun rieu!

Very very good! Had it two times in one day it was so good. 22a is a classic. I got a small and it was plenty. Hot, good and fresh veggies. Later I had the 17. I am not ok with the raw meat to be cooked by broth, and being slimy when "cooked". This is why I took off a star. I now know to avoid it. I have had thief pork chops with egg and rice, and it was also very good. Love the shakes. Service isn't very good but they are slammed, so I can deal. Also, they are so cheap!! Can't believe it. Hope this place doesn't change. It is a gem in walnut creek.

Love this place! Yummy authentic Pho and Thai tea. It's really the only thing I order. I've also tried the porkchop with sticky rice and egg roll. good as well. Super affordable too. Speedy service! A must try if your in the area! Yum

I'm confused. We arrived to the restaurant and were greeted by a confused waitress. The place was packed with happy looking customers. Which added to my confusion. We were promptly seated right by the side door. It's no fault of the restaurant. It was the only table available. It just sucked constantly getting blasted with cold air with each door opening. We ordered, there was some confusion because it appeared our waiter was distracted with everything going on in the place. I ordered deep fried spring rolls and vegetable pho. I was excited. I expected a bowl of broth, noodles and veggies. What I got was a large bowl of broth and a handful of noodles. The waiter did not return so I couldn't ask if he had forgotten the veggie portion of the vegetable pho. The fried spring rolls were so bland I had to saturate them in chili sauce. Overall, extremely upsetting. I was expecting a bowl of wonderful fresh veggies and instead got a big bowl of broth. Uninspiring.

This place is just awesome. Very consistent, fast service, clean (even the bathrooms), friendly staff, affordable, and last but not least, the food is EXCELLENT. It has something for everyone. Delicious soups, rice plates, noodle plates, kids menu, big variety for the conservative palate as well as the adventurous. My family and I have been customers for almost 3 years now and we've never been disappointed. I highly recommend it!

Kevin's consistently serves large portions of flavorful, but not too salty food with friendly and efficient service. The pho and vermicelli bowls are always filled with generous amounts of noodles and meat. The fresh spring rolls are always chewy on the outside and filled with fresh crunchy vegetables on the inside, which is just perfect if you ask me. Other reasons I appreciate Kevin's other than the reliably good food and service: 1. The restaurant (including the bathroom) is always clean 2. Prices are reasonable 3. It accepts credit cards 4. There's free parking in the back I usually come on Saturdays for lunch and have always left happy and satisfied. Kevin's may not be worth a special trip from far away, but it is absolutely worth a visit if you are in the area and crave a solid Vietnamese meal.

Hands down, best pho restaurant I've ever eaten in. Everyone there is super friendly. One reason why I always go back is because they are so clean. You know so Asian restaurants (no offense) but are filthy as heck. I love this place. Yum yum.

Not bad. It's been years since I had been to a Pho place, so long I can't even recall what I ordered. My hun and I told ourselves we would check this place out one day after noticing its opening, so being we were absolutely not in the mood for cooking anything, we decided this evening shall be that day. I'm really not a noodle type person, however, I knew they would have additional non - noodle options. My hun on the other hand, loves pho, so I knew it would not be hard for him to make a decision. This place is located off N. Main St which you can't miss. Parking is in the back with some additional front street parking spaces. The interior is quite spacious with plenty of seating, in a low key, but nice atmosphere. We were seated by one of the servers at a table and handed the menus. Their menu is more extensive than envisioned, with a really decent selection of some tempting looking options including appetizers, Boba teas and deserts. My bf went with the grilled chicken broth soup in a large size ( they offer small, medium or large) it also comes with a small broth soup I believe. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls for an appetizer and # 55 B - which is a salad like dish- with Grilled Chicken, fried egg roll, lettuce peanut and vermicelli ( which I at the time did not know was noodles) Spring rolls arrived first, looking quite good. They also turned out to be pretty decent in taste just minus the pork meat slices wrapped within it that was slightly dry. My huns soup arrived looking incredibly fresh, which he thought turned out to be absolutely delicious. I had a few sips which did not seem to bad. My salad then arrived looking incredibly tasty, which it turned out to be for the most part, just minus a few things. First, as delicious tasting as the chicken was, I could not enjoy it to the full, for I kept chewing on little bits of bone. I as well would have preferred it to be noodle free. I also thought the fried egg roll within the salad was pretty bland in taste and disappointing. Service throughout our visit was fantastic and our server was especially friendly and helpful. He also jokingly said for me to order my salad "noodle free" since he noticed I hardly ate the noodles..lol Overall, decent tasty food, nice low key- clean atmosphere, and really affordable prices. I will definitely give it another shot.

My daughter had the boneless chicken rice noodle soup and I had the thin slices of steak and well-done brisket We both enjoyed the flavor. My daughter said she did not think the soup would have a lot of flavor but was pleasantly surprised.

My boyfriend and I decided to try this spot ln after reading so many 5 star reviews. Honestly, I was super disappointed. I absolutely love Pho so I was excited to see such a high rated restaurant close to us. But, the soup was so blah. Not a lot of flavor. The noodles were super mushy. I ordered the number 17, rare steak pho .. my usual favorite at other restaurants. I was surprised how hyped up, and busy this place was. Overall it was alright. I'll admit you can't beat the prices. Super cheap. Maybe I'll try it again on a different night. Not 8pm on a Sunday again though forsure.

I thought that I had previously reviewed Kevin's favorably, and was going to have to write an updated review. Once, not that long ago, we enjoyed eating there. The food was pretty decent and the service was lightning fast. I can say that the service is still fast....but...the food? I ordered a large #15: Pho with rare beef (on the side) and tendon. My husband ordered a large egg noodle bowl with assorted ingredients. I suspected things had changed when I noticed that the plate of veggies and herbs was completely different than the couple's sitting across from us, despite the fact that one of the people was eating practically the identical soup. On our plate, there was no cilantro and no sliced peppers. OK, mistakes can happen: no big deal. When our food arrived, I noticed that the broth is different than before. I asked for some fish sauce to improve it. Throughout the meal, it never came. But here is where things got so bad that I had to mention it to the waiter. My noodles were so overcooked that, when you tried to lift them out of the bowl, they all broke into small squishy pieces. After waiting quite a long time for a waiter despite having mentioned this to the person who was busing tables, I wanted to be reasonable and just asked to remove the noodles and drop in some new ones. There was no reason to replace the broth and tendons. What I received was new broth and noodles minus much of the tendon. These noodles were also suspect in texture. In fact, I have a feeling that they were made with tapioca starch. How this could happen is beyond me. It also seems that they have increased the amount of MSG that they use in their dishes. I have had the identical one a couple of times before. This time, I got the typical symptoms of flushed face and swollen hands. My husband also walked out with "rosy cheeks". I guess we'll have to start hunting for a new Vietnamese restaurant nearby. Kevin's is now off our list forever.

I walked in at 2p on a Saturday and was surprised to find every table full and a short wait to get seated. This was a good sign, though. I ended up waiting less than 10 minutes to be seated and I was immediately approached by a waiter with an ipad who promptly took my order (two thumbs up for efficiency). The menu here is pretty large, but primarily focused on the variety of noodle soups, generally in your choice of three different sizes. I went with a medium bowl of pho with beef and easily could have ordered a small. The broth was very flavorful and there is a carousel of hot sauces and other accompaniments to let you doctor it to your liking, along with the plate of sprouts, pepper, lime, and thai basil that are served with your bowl. I liked my food, the service, and the atmosphere. No surprise that they have such a loyal following. I'll be back Pho Sho!

On our recent foray, we discovered that this place is now Kevin and CHRIS' Noddle House. Good for you, Chris, whoever you are. Still a fave of our family. On our lunch date, we had three Beef Stew Noodles w/ the clear noodles and one beef w/ a sunny side egg on top (served over rice). Everyone left full and happy.

We got seated pretty quick. The price of the food is reasonable and was served fast. I ordered their medium sized bowl pho and I think paying $7 for it was definitely worth it. The soup was really good . I recommend this place if you're ever around downtown walnut creek area. The only negative feed back that I have is their parking. The space is limited and you might have to park in the street.

I am a regular patron of this location since my office is just walking distance. The noodles and meat is always fresh for the pho. The customer service is always up to par. They are very tentative to their customers when it come to simples things like refilling your water cup and making sure your food is to your satisfactory. Always a plus when the waiter remembers your order.

Live just around the corner from this place so this is one of my go to spots. Service has always been great, same with the food. Parking can be tricky during peak hours but its worth it. If you have never tried Vietnamese food before give this place a try, I don't see how you can go wrong. There are pictures of each dish on the menu to help you select what you want!! Have not been disappointed yet! And have been a regular since they opened. Enjoy!!

First time for dinner but many lunch breaks with co workers. When we can't decide where to go for lunch this is totally a favorite and easy call. No matter the weather we all go for a med or large bowl of pho. At times the broth can be a little salty but on most visits it's perfect. Can't beat the private either. Leave full and happy until $10 including tip in WC is almost unheard of. If you live or work nearby check this place out. They also have locations in the east bay that are just as good. Bonus on my last visit I was sick and the waiter gave me got tea on the house. I know it's usually free but it's the thought that counts!

Cheap and good vietnamese food in Walnut Creek...finally! I'm surprised by how low some o the reviews are...I'm just relieved and elated that there's even a decent and clean vietnamese restaurant in this area. For being so close to San Jose where pho restaurants are on every corner, it's hard to find good vietnamese food in this neck of the Bay. The menu is pretty standard for any vietnamese restaurant, and the prices are really cheap. I think a small runs less than $6 and a large is like $7-8. I've had the vermicelli bowl, beef stew noodles and pho here and they've all been really tasty. Upon walking in, it's an absolute trip how clean and new the place is! Maybe i'm just used to hole in the wall joints, but this place gets an A for cleanliness. On top of that i've never had bad service (they're really nice) and I love how quick the food comes out. At times I was certain they somehow tapped into my pyche as I was parking and preempted my order it was so fast. Thank you Kevin for opening here!!

Good pho and good prices. I was a little surprised by how crowded it was on a Thursday night at 8pm, but our party of 7 was seated quickly. Our waiter took our order with an iPad mini and made it interactive, asking each of us to touch the screen and select the size of our pho as we ordered. He was also very enthusiastic and insistent to show us how he could easily split our check on his handy tablet. I ordered a medium bowl of pho with rare steak and lean brisket. There could have definitely been more meat in the dish, but I don't typically expect huge portions at pho places, so I was content. I greatly appreciated the fact that the broth in the pho did not leave me thirsty for hours after my meal!

The Concord location is closed. I think the prices are a little more in Walnut Creek, CA and the bathroom is definitely cleaner. Maybe that's why there is a price change. The food is nice, not too oily and the service is great. Nice place. Took a star off for the price difference.

My friend was weary about taking me to a pho restaurant in Walnut Creek because he thinks I'd be a food snob about it. (I always tell him I can get real good Vietnamese food in San Jose.) But walking in, I could tell that this restaurant is REALLY popular. The whole restaurant was packed and there was even a line! Thank goodness a table for two opened up quickly because I was starving! Unlike most Vietnamese restaurants, this restaurant was pretty clean. The service was attentive and fast, and our food came out shortly. I ordered the #17 (thin slices of steak) with the steak on the side. The broth was quite flavorful (a tad salty for my taste), but what I loved is how hot (temperature wise) the soup was. It was pippin' hot until I was all done with my food. For about $6-8 a bowl, this place ain't too bad!

Great, quick and reliable spot to have soup. It definitely is a go to place for us on cold nights and when we are trying to fight off colds. Vietnamese soup broth is very healthy and sometimes we like to ask for less noodles to cut off some of the carbs. We get the chicken and shrimp soup or the brisket or beef stew with clear noodles. We also usually order the fried egg rolls. I only wish they used the rice paper to wrap the rolls. We sometimes visit their Concord location where parking is better. We've also been to their SF and Westlake locations.

My husband and I were in the area car shopping Tuesday and decided to grab a quick lunch before starting the process. Loving pho, we yelped places close by and this one popped up. We were excited seeing a solid 4 star! We arrived just as the place was filled up before noon, which we also thought was a good sign. However, we were soon disappointed. :( WE both had the seafood pho and both of us thought it was sub-standard. Big blob of noodles glued together, weak flavorless broth and the tiniest around of seafood I've EVER had (and I've had a lot!). We both poured in the hoisin and rooster sauce to try and breathe some life into it. Maybe because there"s not many options in the area is why it gets so many stars, but I suggest avoiding it. The Tri-Valley has many places that are light years better... thank goodness.

Very clean restaurant and that's hard to find for a pho place that delivers fresh food fast. I usually get seafood pho and it's easy to tell that this place certainly uses fresh ingredients that haven't been frozen forever like other usual pho places. I really appreciate that. Food comes fast and you can choose different sizes. Very small parking lot though.

Come here every once in a while whenever I'm in walnut creek. The pho here is decent. I usually get the Tai/ Tai+ Bo Vien. Food comes out quick as any pho place does. Only complaint is that they kinda skimp on the meat =/ But its good though, so i'll be back =]

I love Kevin's Noodle House. I find myself there every saturday night with my GF. I order 54B and chicken wing on the side every time, and it's delicious! Kevin's has fast service and an awesome staff. And its cheap! It's just flat out good! Update: I am now hooked on the beef stew (33), my GF gets hers with half clear noodle and egg noodle to make it interesting. Give it a try!

Friendly staff, fast service, one of the better pho places I've eaten at (I've eaten at many)! The avocado shake is the best I've had, delicious! I come here almost always twice in my 5 work day week! The only problem is the lack of parking during the lunch rush! Not a big deal though its worth the wait.

The BEST beef noodle stew and chicken pho I have ever had!! The beef was so tender and just melted in my mouth. This is the first time where they gave more meat than noodles. I was impressed. Anyways, I loved everything about the stew. I am also a fan of their chicken pho. They make their broth from scratch, and it's purely chicken. I dislike places that still use beef broth for chicken pho. I'm so happy I found a delicious authentic Vietnamese spot. Prices are cheap! You can pick between a small, medium or large bowl for soups. The small was perfect for me. Service is friendly and quick. The place is clean and spacious. I wouldn't mind driving all the way here for some good quality Vietnamese food.

I love this place. The food is good, the staff is friendly, pricing is reasonable. Any of the Phos are great.

Nice Pho shop near the Walnut Creek Bart station. Nice clean location with large bowls of Pho for $7.50. The Pho was good the spring rolls are kinda thin. Every thing else is typical Pho joint. Great location. Parking in the rear but you need to walk to the front entrance to get in.

My friends and I walked in here after hiking, they got in first and put their name down for four people. Shortly afterwards, a server walked over, looked around, and without asking crossed off a name. Checking the list she crossed off my friends name!! We were definitely not seated yet and what the heck? Anyway, when they were about to seat the next group my friend calmly told the server that we were next and that a lady crossed her off for no reason. We were seated, given menus, and a server came over shortly. We made our selections and the food came out fast. If you like pho they have a great selection plus a few other things on the menu and a lot of desserts. The service was good, but they were slooowwww to bring the check. The food and price are decent. On the other hand the parking lot is never big enough and you will probably never get great service since they have always been slammed (full) whenever I'm there.

Great Pho! As good as any location in SF. Love that they use shrimp and other ingredients to liven up the soup. Would give 5 stars w/ more legit fried rollls

Was there this past December. Cheap and good enough food. The soup was what the Dr had ordered...perfect and warm.

This place is amazing. Their Phô is amazing, and also happens to be the perfect cure for a cold! The prices are extremely reasonable and the food is amazing- a true win win.

Another Kevin's Pho. Good consistency and definitely cleaner than the one in Concord. Parking is small so it may be difficult during peak hours and not a lot of street parking since it's located on busy Main Street between VW dealer and car wash. I am a little disappointed with their Bun. All it comes with is lettuce. They charge extra for bean sprouts and basil. Bun at other mom and pop pho places usually come with mint, sprouts, lettuce and basil for FREE. I think I'll try Hello Pho on Monument next time.

Great place to grab a quick, affordable, lunch or dinner. I always get the fresh spring rolls, a bowl of pho or the vermicelli salad. Food is consistent and they are fast even on the busiest of days.

When we're not sure where to go, we head for pho! I'm pretty obsessed with the steak and meatballs pho. The pho here has much less oil on top than most I've had, which is comforting even if it's not truly better for you :) fresh herbs and bean sprouts are also plentiful with the order. Bun options are super yummy too! Their fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce is stellar (best with siracha added into the sauce). The seating, service and food is super quick. Prices are very reasonable, too.

The Pho is pretty good, the soup is tasty. So why 2 stars? Well, because they CHARGE for EXTRA LIME. I didn't ask for 5, or 3, just 2. I've been to numerous Pho restaurants that NEVER came across this type of situation. When you go to any Pho restaurant, sometime the lime they gave you is just too dry, not enough juice, so you ask for extra lime. But this is the ONLY Pho restaurant where they charged an extra $0.50 for EACH lime. That's like McDonald's charging you for extra napkin.

Great Pho! I usually order their Chicken Pho. It comes with a side of vegetables that we can put in the Pho itself as an option. We also have several different sauce options with our Pho. I like a little bit of their spicy sauce and soy sauce for a hint of flavor. Their Spring Rolls are phenomenal and their Fried Pork Rolls are even better (the sweet and sour sauce with the Fried Pork Rolls is a must try!). Every entry on their menu (besides the Pho selection) comes with onion soup broth, with fresh parsley and a few thinly sliced onion pieces. I love having this just alone as my full course meal, sometimes! So soothing and delicious, anytime of the day. I would not recommend their Pork and/or Chicken Wing combo dishes. Pork is full of fat and the Chicken Wing has mostly bone and skin and no meat. I absolutely love their fresh squeezed orange juice. Its full of flavor (all seasons...even when oranges aren't in season!). Their pearl smoothies are good, but Quickly makes them better. The staff here are quite friendly. They make sure they accomodate their guests somehow during their peek hours by setting up seating outside the establishment. The parking is a bit compact and not very well structured. The 10 space parking lot is shared with a tire shop and a rental area. I'm glad my work is just a walking distance from this place. I'll be around :-)

Picked it as a quick place to grab some (semi-healthy) food near downtown WC at a good price. Well, it certainly met all of those, but that's pretty much it. Decent location, reasonable prices. The shrimp spring rolls were standard. Nothing exciting in them, so they definitely needed the dipping sauce that came with . Just shrimp, lettuce, rice noodle inside, no herbs or anything to add flavor. I got a seafood noodle soup (#27) which was also disappointing - in terms of portion, veggies (lack thereof) and flavor. Very little meat, they were even skimpy with the fake crab and fish cake slices, and the broth had almost NO flavor. Thank god they put bottles of sauces on the table. The most disappointing Vietnamese food I've ever had. I would have been better off getting pre-made food from Safeway.

Tried this place today, and it was amazing! We're from Melbourne, and there is Pho EVERYWHERE, so our standard for this cuisine is pretty high. The food was incredible (we got a chicken pho & a seafood pho, eggrolls & chinese sausage)... the service was great, the price was cheap, the toilets were immaculate, and to top it off, they correctly guessed we were Australian (which is actually quite a rarity). Highly recommended!

I've been coming here often, sometimes once or twice a week! I crave that delicious pho, especially if I feel a cold coming on. They're quick to seat you and the pho comes out fast. Seating can be at your own table or at a larger one broken up by the condiment container. The staff are always really nice and efficient. Since I come here often I get the recognized smile and hellos. Big menu with lots of pho, beef, seafood and chicken varieties but no vegetarian I've seen.

Never again! My husband and I loved this place until today! Not only did they messed up all of my orders, but when I called from home to let know, in the middle of the conversation they hang up on my face. I went over there with my friend who speaks Vietnamese. These people were beyond rude, a bald guy stats yelling at me telling me I have to pay for meatballs because THEY FORGOT TO ADD IT. I explained to him that all of my 3 orders were wrong I got uncooked meat when I asked for it to be cooked he said, well just cook it... WTF! The place was full of people and he was yelling at me so I told him to please control his tone, he started pointing his finger in my face! And runs to the back saying I'll give it to you for free... (The meatballs) I told him what about the other orders they were missing meats and stuff. Then he just disappeared to the back. This is the 2nd time they messed up my order last time they gave me someone else's order and called me when I was pulling up at my house telling me to please go back and return the food.... Seriously.... The Worst of the worst work here... Never again... Too bad because I was a frequent customer.

We ordered the extra large Pho at this location (~$11 with tax and tip), and this bowl fed two people! I LOVE that they have a terrace to eat on. We went on a night where the weather was perfect. The service was personable. One worker even helped me find parking and made sure I found the most optimal spot as he stood outside to make sure I found parking! There's extra parking in the back. Great flavor, great service, great location. With so many GREATs, this place is not to be missed if you're looking for a cheap quick bite to eat in Walnut Creek.

My new favorite PHO spot. Clean establishment, fast service, and the best pho around. Get the beef stew #32! And they have outdoor seating which is nice for people who want to enjoy sunny days or bring their dogs.
